I suppose this book was a good overview of the history of Street Fighter but it was mostly full of images I feel like you'd be better off just reading the information off of a site and potentially purchasing the art book SF20I was pretty miffed with the author as I'm under the impression that he didn't know everything about the artists especially when it came to BengusCRMK some images were labeled as Bengus or CRMK But it's the same artist I was very much annoyed with the constant description of female characters as sexy without any other type of substance This definitely wasn't a complete history because it didn't cover the name changes of characters Vega Balrog M Bison and AkumaI borrowed it from the library definitely not worth 20 bucks Reading about Street Fighter does make me happy but this book is just reallybasic

This little book is pretty neat Admittedly being such a fan of the series as I am I might be inclined to appreciate the history of how it evolved over the years However it does provide insight into many of the ualities the game possesses that allowed it or should I say allowed us to develop a community around it In that regard the book is as much about the fans as it is about the game itself

  4. Bevan Boychuk Bevan Boychuk says:

A really uick fun read Lots of interesting stuff about my favourite fighting game However I wish there would have been testimonials from fans who never entered the gaming industry There was also no real conclusion It just kind of wrapped itself up in one paragraph

  8. Noel Noel says:

Far from what I'd call complete this is of a coffee table fluff book than a comprehensive history There's little here that you won't find online in wikis or fansites
