A very long text but an excellent story True story of Owney the homeless dog who finds a home with the US Postal Service and travels around the world

I got this as a gift and it was a cute story about a dog who apparently was real and did travel with the US Postal Service in the late 1800s I liked the pictures but found the text to be kind of hard to follow sometimes This is something you'd need a lot of background knowledge for in order to really understand But definitely cute

Owney is back in this tale of his adventures mostly fiction based on facts Not as much fun as the first book too much print and not enough pictures
