The photographs are lovely the writing varied and informative and the maps somewhat useful Together they provide a good overview of the landscape of England

Good book provided details for specific part of England There is one big map on the front that shows the division It's interesting to know that each of those areas has a name of its own The text is little bit dry but I like the pictures and detailed map given so definitely this is a book worth keeping As for printing uality it's decent The paper is thick and glossy Some maps and pictures covers a whole page but most are small Still I think there is something lacking Perhaps it's because this book is uite old

Love this book Lots of little essays you can read and learn things from Garienos has it and whenever I go to his house I read another chapter on another bit of the UK we have visited I've been visiting for nearly 6 years and I still dipping into the book just wish they would make a paperback
