The boy, broken can be read as either a stand alone or the follow on from Breaking the girl, this follows the story of Reece who was a part of the previous book but we finally get a chance to experience his story This book is from author M.C Webb This is my second read from this author and after experiencing her writing style again, with her brilliant characters and incredible story lines I will definitely be looking out forof her books. This book is mysterious, suspenseful with a mix of The boy, broken can be read as either a stand alone or the follow on from Breaking the girl, this follows the story of Reece who was a part of the previous book but we finally get a chance to experience his story This book is from author M.C Webb This is my second read from this author and after experiencing her writing style again, with her brilliant characters and incredible story lines I will definitely be looking out forof her books. This book is mysterious, suspenseful with a mix of romance and twists and turns throughout The emotions and feelings that are brought through the pages of this book is what I believe make this story so muchreal, heart breaking and raw The situations that our characters Reece Adeline have faced in their past are shown is some really real and raw flashbacks that have emotions pouring out of the page But you also see what they continue to face through this book truly show how far some people to truly have to come to face their own demons They may still live with their past influencing their future but they try everything that can to keep things from not getting too far. These situations that occurred in this book were real and raw, heart breaking, and faces things that are upsetting and I think M.C Webb writing captures them and writes about them in the right way, they are wrote in a very mature, real way that entrances the reader. This book and the characters journey take us on an emotional rollercoaster we felt anger, sadness, pain, sorrow, Heart ache But most of all we have to face the brokenness of these two people These two have a very unusual relationship because as much as they want each other they also know they shouldn t their conflicting emotions are all over the place one minute arguing the next anger, frustration, lust and desire they really don t know what to feel for each other and it also doesn t help with all the secrets that follow the two about But through all this I couldn t help but route for them and want them to be together I liked that Axel Payton was mentioned in this read and that their story continued, it was nice to see how far their relationship had come especially from the events that occurred in Breaking the Girl.Another great thing with this book is that it was written in dual POV s I love reading it from the characters POV s as we get to really see their thoughts and feeling from them rather than the other person I also think it helps connect with a character as you get to understand some of their reasons of their actions. This is an incredible fast paced, suspenseful, emotional yet powerful read that will captivate you from the beginning Do not miss this read, it will entrance you and hold you there until the very end
