My four year old son adored this book and spent uite a while looking at it He especially enjoyed finding all the letters on each page and following Robber R throughout the book Very creative

I love looking through this book with my nephew For reference he's a little over 2 and has the whole alphabet but he's starting to make sentences and build his vocabulary This book has a lot of words you won't find in the typical alphabet books I don't want to read about A being for Apple any Instead this book introduces tons of objects animals and occupations that start with letters I really enjoy the fact that my nephew now seeks out the cheese monger and the vampire when we look through although the vampire one is because I obviously do a vampire voice when that page comes up I also like the fact that there is a reference on the book liners that shows you alphabetically all the representations in the book so if I am unsure what a drawing is supposed to be which does happen a few times I can deduce it from the listMy only negative comment about this book is that there is a typo in the liner that drives me bonkers Whoever edited this book needs to learn how to spell 'architect' because it is spelled as 'architecht' in the list and it makes my eye twitch every time I see it and think about how Scholastic put this out So many eyes must've been on it and it still got through Here's hoping if it gets another printing they will fix it

Young readers will probably enjoy this picture book than I did because it is brimming with bright colors and so many things to see For my eyes the illustrations created with brush pens and then colored through Adobe Photoshop were filled with too many things to see and I felt overwhelmed But youngsters most likely won't feel that same way As the bus driver heads through Letter Town he picks up various letters and readers have the chance to identify the ones whose names start with a particular letter The story is told in rhyming text and by the time readers reach the conclusion they may be surprised to learn that something else has been going on while all of these passengers are being picked up and onlookers watching I wonder how many youngsters will pick up on that while reading the book For those who simply must have the answer to who's living in Letter Town at each stop on the way the endpapers provide that information Reading this one will take a little time but it will be worth it if youngsters learn these letters I'd certainly share it as a lap read or a small group read aloud

This book is all about the Alphabet Bus Driver B drives his bus all around Letter Town picking up all of the other letters The author does this in a very clever way He uses lots of words that start with the letters he is using For example Time for gas watch me pull next to a G with a giant grin It would be a very fun book for young readers to readI thought that this was very clever and funny book I like how the author wrote and connected all of the letters together This would be a great book for an early grade level to read If I were to teach a younger grade level I could use this in a reading or writing section It could them learn their alphabet or even learn words that start with those letters For an activity I could have each student come up with words that start with each letter that aren't in the book

My thoughts – Letter Town is a neat little seek and find book Each letter needs to be found on the pages as you are paging through It also asks you to find other things to like for the letter S it asks you to find who says HoHoHo I think it’s a nice little book for sureThe words on the pages go together with the illustrations wonderfully They blend in together to make a wonderful book for little children I really enjoyed reading and paging through it I can’t wait to share it with my daughter once she gets to the age in which she can identify letters in the alphabetI think this is an incredible book and that any child would enjoy having it added to their bookshelves

I'll be honest I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did  So much that I actively shoved it into my mom's hand and told her that she should use this in her classroom  With bright colors lively characters and a fantastic story this abcediary makes for one of the most fun alphabet books I've ever read  They truly mean it when they say that it's a seek and find alphabet book because the subplot in this is just fantasticand yes I said subplot  Also if I'm remembering correctly the backside of the dust jacket unfolds into a great alphabet poster which is just so so much fun  Review cross listed here

If you are looking for a bright colorful book with a few random things to seek and find I suppose this book will fill a need However if you are looking for a book to teach andor reinforce the alphabet I recommend looking elsewhere Most of the letters are abstract in appearance and many are downright unrecognizable A child who is struggling with letter recognition will only be aggravated by this book
