As the title suggests, this is a collection of essays, in honour of Don Carson s 70th birthday The majority of the essays were very good, and I would only give a poor rating for one The final essay Doing missions when dying is gain , by John Piper was outstanding and worth referring to Many of the authors Piper included areCalvinist than I feel comfortable with, so it was interesting engaging in their worldview.

An uneven book, but make sure to read Michael and Tim Keller s chapter on university missions and John Stevens on gospel cooperation.
