    This is a likeable cosy mystery with a suitably knotty plot I thought that the characters were well defined, especially those of Jean and Karen, the two main characters.The only reason I have reduced my assessment from 5 stars to 4 is, without spoiling the plot too much, that I thought that having 2 sets of villains in such a small town was a bit far fetched, as was the rather extreme attempts to eliminate Jean and Karen.However it still made an enjoyable and satisfying read, with a great fast This is a likeable cosy mystery with a suitably knotty plot I thought that the characters were well defined, especially those of Jean and Karen, the two main characters.The only reason I have reduced my assessment from 5 stars to 4 is, without spoiling the plot too much, that I thought that having 2 sets of villains in such a small town was a bit far fetched, as was the rather extreme attempts to eliminate Jean and Karen.However it still made an enjoyable and satisfying read, with a great fast pace to the storyline.I did receive a free copy of this book from the author, and voluntarily provided this review
