A lovely and emotional MM romance When Jordan Callahan catches another boyfriend cheating on him with another man he is disenchanted by love and relationships At a high school reunion when he saw his best friend and former flame Rick the old feelings flared up instantlyRick has been dealing with his sexuality for years He didn't know if he was gay or bi but he knew that he wanted Jordan now as much as he did several years ago It's the first time they're both single since breaking up and Rick wanted to try up with him againJordan wants Rick but he can't risk his heart again Even though he wants Rick he doesn't want to be with someone who was still in the closet and Rick is still not ready to admit to his real sexuality fearing the disappointment of his family and friendsBeen a while since I read a good MM romance Jordan and Rick sparked my interest in Handling Cynthia This had been uite a uick read for me took me no than a couple of hours I was uickly absorbed in the story I found it well written and flowed uite nicely I adored all characters too but there were times that I wanted to bash Rick in the head with my Kindle ; The sex scenes were also hot hot hot This copy was provided by the author in exchange for a fair and honest review

Here's my honest review It was well written and a uick read I really need to go back and read the first 2 but even though I didn't read them I really enjoyed this book There was enough information to read alone and still understand what's going on As annoying at times Rick was I like how he worried about his friend but seriously he needed to be honest with himself Jordan is too easy to give in to Rick Even though you love someone you shouldn't make things easy for them Make them work for it a little it's a lot fun that way I understand Rick's dilemma about coming out but who said life was easy A really enjoyable book

Review will be posted later after I finish the last book Not really feeling it I think the first one was better than this

This is best read after reading Seducing Jordan and Handling Cynthia to get an overall understanding of the plot I found the three books taken together as a very enjoyable read

15 starsThe previous book ends with Jordan and Rick agreeing to give their relationship a go This one starts five years later and there has clearly been trouble in paradiseRick can't keep his dick in his pants What a surprisenot Right off the bat Rick pissed me off Clearly he and Jordan weren't together any yet he was still trying to dictate who Jordan could be withtalk to and couldn't wait to hook up with Jordan again And Jordan let's him Rick goes on and on about how he doesn't want Jordan to let men take advantage of him yet it's Rick who constantly takes advantage of Jordan It's completely ridiculous At one point Jordan is thinking about how he now knows what it's like to feel used and 'That was something Rick would never do to him' Ermwhat??? That's ALL Rick does to JordanI nearly popped a retina several from vigorous eye rolling Absolutely nothing has changed in this book it's full of the same too ing and fro ing as the first book It's pages and pages of the same odd stuff again and again Cynthia's reaction is completely ridiculous and unbelievable Her and Rick haven't been together for five years since high school and she's with someone else Why the hell would she care who he's with now? The relationship between Rick and Jordan is toxic It's no good for either of them and I spent my time wishing Jordan would get some self respect and tell Rick to fuck right off The author needs to realise that it's almost impossible to like a series of books when you don't like the characters when they have absolutely no redeeming ualities Jordan is bad enough with his willingness to be a doormat but Rick is totally awful There is nothing to like about that man at allI would love to leave it there but I'll read the last book because I bought these as a trilogy and I still have a minuscule amount of hope that it might get better

copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie by authorpublisher via Pride Promotions in exchange for an honest reviewJordan and Rick were best friends all through high school They were inseparable until they left for different colleges The summer before college they shared a weekend together But going off to different colleges sent them in different directions in their lives and relationships Rick went the straight path and Jordan continued to live his life as openly gay They have stayed distant friends since college but nothing When they meet up for their 5 year high school reunion will the rekindle the flame?I have mixed feelings about this book and struggled as to how many stars to give it This book was frustrating to read Actually it was Rick that was so frustrating I was as confused about Rick's sexuality as he was He went back and forth between gay and bi You have had 5 years to think and figure this out yet you still can't decide? This was a short read it takes place over just a few days but Rick and Jordy had an instant chemistry I didn't feel cheated by the size of the book but I felt the ending was rushed Issues were left unresolved and if the author would have either cut out some of the unnecessary inner dialogue or just added one chapter I feel it could have ended solidly I also felt the book had too many background characters for such a short book until I looked at goodreads and saw this is part two of Jordan and Rick's story I think this book probably would have read better if I would have read the beginning of their story I wish I would have realized that before I read it I don't think it hurts to be read as a standalone but I'd definitely recommend reading book one 1st

FourStarsJordan has had bad luck in the romance department Several of his last boyfriends have cheated on him and he is done he deserves better Rick is Jordan’s best friend and has had to live up to everyone’s expectations of him for too long Jordan and Rick shared one hot weekend many years ago and neither of them has forgotten about it Their class reunion is coming up and they decide to go stag since they both aren’t dating anyone This was a fast read with hot sex and a little bit of angst and drama I loved how close Rick and Jordan were but I hated the fact that they played this cat and mouse game over and over The book spanned really only a weekend but it seemed like longer with as many fights they had playing said cat and mouse game The reader could feel the chemistry and the sexual heat but the ending happened way too fast and we never really got to see just how Ricks parent reacted to the news of him and Jordan we get a feeling how his dad will act but that was never told in the epilogue Overall it was an enjoyable readI was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow ReadsAngie

I actually read this in a day It was well written I'm not sure I particularly like either character Rick annoys me just because he's the guy that worries for absolutely nothing Jordan bothers me because he caves so easily As a reader I'm enthralled but as a person I wanted him to make Rick work harder Yeah part of me understands it's not easy to come out but I found myself just severely disliking him But personal feelings aside it was actually a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading
