The Tree of Mindala is dying, and only the triad can save it The race is on to find out who among the citizens of Wunderwood has the power to replant the tree.I enjoyed taking another stroll through the world of Wunderwood It s full of fascinating characters and beautiful scenery Magic abounds, so long as the tree is healthy, and with the tree declining, no one is able to use their magic Except, of course, for the story s main villain Leaf rises to the occasion, stealing the Box containing The Tree of Mindala is dying, and only the triad can save it The race is on to find out who among the citizens of Wunderwood has the power to replant the tree.I enjoyed taking another stroll through the world of Wunderwood It s full of fascinating characters and beautiful scenery Magic abounds, so long as the tree is healthy, and with the tree declining, no one is able to use their magic Except, of course, for the story s main villain Leaf rises to the occasion, stealing the Box containing the necessary components to replant the tree.I could truly sympathize with Leaf, and he is one of the best written characters in the book He doesn t want to play the bad guy, instead being thrust into the role by circumstances beyond his control Becoming the villain is the only solution he sees to the numerous problems he s experiencing I always enjoy when I can sympathize with the villain of a story. There are a ton of characters throughout the course of the story Too many, I think The intended audience is too young to keep track of so many I had trouble remembering who was who That being said, most of the main characters are very well written, and I felt like I could truly connect with them Among those were Miranda, Raina, Leaf, Skye, and most of all Thornton The gut wrenching agony Thornton feels over his past is beautifully written, and I felt a deep connection with him.I also have to say that I believe the story is a little longer than it needs to be There are so many scenes of everyone standing around talking that it really slowed down the action No, this isn t an action packed tale, but it s a powerful story and one that I was eager to see resolved spoiler ahead I loved the addition of dragons, and the role they played end of spoiler In addition, I loved the descriptions of magic and alchemy, as well as delving into the history of Wunderwood.I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review

Great follow up to the Tree of Mindala This second installment of the Wunderwood series starts about a year after the end of the Tree of Mindala with the two main characters once again being transported to the magical world of Wunderwood This time, the danger to this realm is evengrave than in part one Just as the first book, the Triad is very well written with wonderful character development that brings to the forefront some actors that were just introduced in the first book We also g Great follow up to the Tree of Mindala This second installment of the Wunderwood series starts about a year after the end of the Tree of Mindala with the two main characters once again being transported to the magical world of Wunderwood This time, the danger to this realm is evengrave than in part one Just as the first book, the Triad is very well written with wonderful character development that brings to the forefront some actors that were just introduced in the first book We also get to learnof the history of this wonderful place. If you read the The Tree of Mindala, you owe yourself to read the Triad If you haven t I guess you got two great books to read
