Small Note In the Metaphysical World, a Spirit or Talking Boards are completely different from your mass produced Ouija Boards by the Hasbro Game Company Carefully research before you choose to step over to the other side You may accidentally open a portal to a malevolent spirit. This is a short story by a new, indie author, named L Bachman This is my first time reading anything by this young lady and it will not be my last Another chilling read for Halloween. Her prose is almost poetic like Small Note In the Metaphysical World, a Spirit or Talking Boards are completely different from your mass produced Ouija Boards by the Hasbro Game Company Carefully research before you choose to step over to the other side You may accidentally open a portal to a malevolent spirit. This is a short story by a new, indie author, named L Bachman This is my first time reading anything by this young lady and it will not be my last Another chilling read for Halloween. Her prose is almost poetic like, throughout the whole story In just 28 pages the author takes something so innocent and turns it horrific without spilling a single drop of blood. The premise of the story is posted on , so I can t give too much away without spoiling the story For Oscar Sermon, it s a chance meeting at the Cemetery while visiting his wife s grave It s only been six months, so he is in the early stages of shock, loss and beginning just to grieve Yearning for the human touch, not physical, but on a spiritual level He finds comfort in talking to Marica Yet, he pauses for a brief second when he hears her last name, Vadim The Vadim clan are well known Gypsies that live up in the mountains She tells him her spellbinding story that will ultimately be the catalyst to the terrifying and shocking events that follow He was warned.Plus, didn t we learn a lesson from Stephen King s novel, Thinner.Reviewed by robinleehorrorbookreviews.com

My five star review of human Ouija Written by L BachmanA story of a man recovering from the tragic loss of the one person he loved unconditionally He meets a woman who is also mourning over a lost loved one The story picks up as these two strangers are on similar and nearly equal situation The main character dreams of his lost loved one and expresses this to the woman he just met This woman ends up being part of a small offshoot of a gypsy society and is related to a physic medium That s My five star review of human Ouija Written by L BachmanA story of a man recovering from the tragic loss of the one person he loved unconditionally He meets a woman who is also mourning over a lost loved one The story picks up as these two strangers are on similar and nearly equal situation The main character dreams of his lost loved one and expresses this to the woman he just met This woman ends up being part of a small offshoot of a gypsy society and is related to a physic medium That s as far as I go for spoilers A story of spirits and dark demons who prey on the weak minded and thrive on taking advantage of humans in there moment of weakness This story was vibrant and descriptive in atmosphere and characters A flowing fast paced story that first pulled at my heart strings then soon escalated into horrific ambience and a whirlwind of creepiness The characters were engaging in an empathetic way for me I actually got goosebumps and long lasting chills from two particular scenes once near the end the first was about halfway no spoilers I will never try an Ouija board ever especially after reading this horror filled story I read this story as an ARC before release for an honest review and then was immediately interested in L Bachman s other work

I was given a copy exchange for my honest review this was a short and quick read, but this had me from the beginning , we meet Oscar at the gravesite of his wife s were something catches his eye and he watches Marica at another grave site. When they both leave from there to sit down and go have some coffee talk it s subtle but it s there you can start seeing that they re attracted to each other and this is where Marica offers to help Oscar and to his surprise he finds out she s also a gypsy I was given a copy exchange for my honest review this was a short and quick read, but this had me from the beginning , we meet Oscar at the gravesite of his wife s were something catches his eye and he watches Marica at another grave site. This is definitely a recommended read

I was lucky to win this book from the author. We meet Oscar grieving at his wife s grave Although it had been 6 months the grief is still raw On one particular visit he meets a woman and out of curiosity starts up a conversation It turns out that she is part of a small gypsy family After getting invited to visit her family, he finds out that all the women are psychic, which piques his interest in the supernatural. The way this book is written, you really feel for Oscar and can understand why h I was lucky to win this book from the author. The way this book is written, you really feel for Oscar and can understand why he seeks ways of contacting his deceased wife From the moment he meets the gypsies, you know something is going happen, but don t know when This style of writing makes this book hard to put down and because this is a short story you can read this in one sitting. One thing I do know is that I have never used a ouija board and after reading this book I will definitely not
