When I picked up this book on NetGalley.com, I saw an interesting concept of a female Indian journalist In the world of men here was a woman who could stand up for herself That piqued my interest.Instead, I got a woeful romance I didn t much like any of the characters And I hate to admit it but this codependent romancy thing is so boring to me It s bad enough when the pursuit is for a single person, but when it s for a married man, there has got to be a lot you can do with your time instead When I picked up this book on NetGalley.com, I saw an interesting concept of a female Indian journalist In the world of men here was a woman who could stand up for herself That piqued my interest.Instead, I got a woeful romance I didn t much like any of the characters And I hate to admit it but this codependent romancy thing is so boring to me It s bad enough when the pursuit is for a single person, but when it s for a married man, there has got to be a lot you can do with your time instead And yes, I know smart women get themselves hooked in such situations, but I don t really want to read about it Not even on a higher speed text to speech.Sorry to be a Debbie Downer about this It s not my kind of book

Note I got this book for free from Netgalley and this is my fair review of the book Its a small book of around 100 pages, a novella The story is about Anjali who falls in love with Siddharth knowing that he is already married Well, now you can imagine the confusion and complexities it can create in the mind of Anjali I could not understand what kind of stupidity can push a girl to have an affair with a married man knowingly The author also could not answer that in the book as well So can Note I got this book for free from Netgalley and this is my fair review of the book Its a small book of around 100 pages, a novella The story is about Anjali who falls in love with Siddharth knowing that he is already married Well, now you can imagine the confusion and complexities it can create in the mind of Anjali I could not understand what kind of stupidity can push a girl to have an affair with a married man knowingly The author also could not answer that in the book as well So can we assume that it just happened may be yes but it would have been good if the author had given some good reason for that the end of the book is kind of OK and was expected I rate it 3 5

A novella written with such feeling A young woman enchanted with the relationship she has with a married man She is willing to give up everything, her friends, job, and even relocate to a new place All of this for her lover whom only comes to see her when it is convenient for him What is he willing to sacrifice for her Will he happily give up everything as she did Very well written, entertaining 5 Stars
