There was just something that I cannot pinpoint that kept this book from being great Not to mention, I did not like the ending, it just seemed too abrupt, very lacking needed some work Overall it was a decent read though There was just something that I cannot pinpoint that kept this book from being great Not to mention, I did not like the ending, it just seemed too abrupt, very lacking needed some work Overall it was a decent read though

Overall I enjoyed reading Ship of Dreams I felt that as a romantic adventure story it did very well balancing the steamy scenes with the swashbuckling adventure at its core Elaine Leclaire provided a level of world building and research I had not seen in other romances before Though, I did find the ending to be lacking She had a decent build leading into the climax of the book, but wrapped it up quickly and a little too perfectly In a way I felt cheated out of the closure I wanted That sai Overall I enjoyed reading Ship of Dreams I felt that as a romantic adventure story it did very well balancing the steamy scenes with the swashbuckling adventure at its core Elaine Leclaire provided a level of world building and research I had not seen in other romances before Though, I did find the ending to be lacking She had a decent build leading into the climax of the book, but wrapped it up quickly and a little too perfectly In a way I felt cheated out of the closure I wanted That said, I still recommend giving it a read As someone who loves pirates I found it to be an enjoyable romp

This was a delightful read It was nicely balanced between plot action and character development with good timing of the intimate scenes The characters were likable and believable It is also clear that the author did her research for the setting and time and those added details made the story richer I definitely recommend it as a fun, pleasant read
