A pretty ordinary book by a master story teller The story is built around the travails in cricket and about cricketers This is a game that has become a national passion The authors attempts to encash it, though in vain Some of the events described are close to what actually happened, specially in the context of match fixing, and some of the characters, read players, bear resemblance to actual cricketers Yet, the book fails to hold ones interest.

  2. Srivatsan V Srivatsan V says:

Fabulous readFabulous book on Cricket in India during the last decade in a fictional way Must read if you love cricket and follow it closely

  3. Mohit Mohit says:

The book tells the dilemma and state of mind of the Captain of National Cricket team during the world cup final when he comes to know about possible match fixing This books explains all good and bad of the game, the author had clearly done his homework before writing this book Somehow, I feel there are too many characters and none of them give pace to story The reader can t remember anyone else other than Mayank Pradhan The Captain.
