    It s like the old saying goes, You cant fix stupid And as much as I hate to say it, Surf n Turf is stupid The whole concept of two competing pseudo gay gangs preventing two men from being together, and those two men not doing anything about it, is asinine There is not one ounce of common sense in this book In the beginning there were several references as to how Romeo and Juliet and the events happening to the two protagonists were similar, and that worked for me A modern gay version of It s like the old saying goes, You cant fix stupid And as much as I hate to say it, Surf n Turf is stupid The whole concept of two competing pseudo gay gangs preventing two men from being together, and those two men not doing anything about it, is asinine There is not one ounce of common sense in this book In the beginning there were several references as to how Romeo and Juliet and the events happening to the two protagonists were similar, and that worked for me A modern gay version of Romeo and Juliet, but that idea was squelched and never heard from again What we were left with was two men who allowed bullies to dictate their every coming and going and not once did they do anything about it Stupid I give Surf n Turf two stars I ve got one book left in the Romentics series, but I ve got to read something else, just to clear my palate, before I finish the series.
