Found the main character too unlikeable to make we want to persevere with the story Gave up after 70 pages.

This book started out well, then got worse in between and tried to redeem itself at the end.Colin is 14, smart and psychic or so he thinks. He hears a voice like Samuel L Jackson and gets pushed around a lot.I did not enjoy this book especially with the whole lamia thing it just lost the plot for me.I was hoping for some good read, like a boy who doesn t have friends, is smart and dares to rise above it all, but I got something strange and quite different.I struggled to read it.I just wis This book started out well, then got worse in between and tried to redeem itself at the end.Colin is 14, smart and psychic or so he thinks. He hears a voice like Samuel L Jackson and gets pushed around a lot.I did not enjoy this book especially with the whole lamia thing it just lost the plot for me.I was hoping for some good read, like a boy who doesn t have friends, is smart and dares to rise above it all, but I got something strange and quite different.I struggled to read it.I just wish it was something better andinteresting to me
