My Rating 4 out of 5 stars This is going to be a short review  Not because I don’t have enough to good or bad things to say about Unloved but for fear that I will reveal too much A lot of things occurred that would completely ruin the story for you if I told youNeely is trying to put the past behind her and move on with her life with Hayden  But the poor girl is doomed to be happy  Andrew’s mother threatens to harm everyone she loves if she doesn’t find Andrew and convince him to have a pure taniwha  Neely finds herself facing the very man she hated and with the thing she never wanted to meetLucas  Now a real life walking breathing little boy that looks identical to her She uickly realizes that this is going to harder then she imagined  Her feelings for Lucas and Andrew are growing and as well as the lies she keeps telling HaydenThe love triangle escalates and when Hayden deceives her she finds herself drawn to Andrew and   When tragedy strikes she is forced to make some tough decisions  Will Hayden and Neely be able to move forward after he finds out about Lucas and will she be able to protect Lucas from Andrew’s mother?

Unloved by KD Wood a fab four star read Unloved is the second book in the Unwilling series This is the 3rd book by this author I have read and I have enjoyed them all I plan on reading as I find the writing both passionate and intense and so wonderfully written that they take you away to another world This is a second book in the series and I would recommend you read them in order to get the most out of the seriesThis story follows on from Unwilling and tells us of Neely McIntire’s story just like the first book you will be kept hooked and wondering who you should be rooting for and who you should hate as it seems to change from page to page in some parts The one thing I didn’t like was how Neely never seems to get a break she has been through so much and is destined to keep fighting on Hayden Nelson just wants his best friend back he knows something happened but he isn’t sure what what will happen if he finds out? Will he ever be able to keep their relationship the same?Andrew Huckley knows that Neely may never forgive him but he doesn’t care he just wants her in his life Will he ever get what he desires? This story is about the complexities of love how even though we know something may be wrong in your heart it doesn’t always feel that way and what do you follow your heart or your head?

This book follows where Unwilling left off It has most of the same characters plus some It seemed like book 1 was just an intro and so while it was good this one was filled with action and you seem to be able to jump into the story a little better So to me this book was better than the firstI still love Neely and of course I still hate Andrew sorry I just can not bring myself to like him I tried to in this book but sometimes it's hard to change your viewpoint Plus this book really made me not like Hayden I was rooting for him and Neely but this book just shows him in a different lightThe writing was really good It was so easy to jump back in and with that being saidI really enjoyed reading this book StormihttpwwwboundlessbookreviewscomhttpswwwfacebookcomBBReviews

Ugh I hate to be so vague in my reviews but I don’t want to give anything away Why does KD make you want to spill everything? Anyways Neely is trying to move forward and leave things in the past However the past has a way of coming to the forefront Neely loves Hayden but is drawn to Andrew Can she have them both? Lucas is identical to Neely and needs her to protect him from Andrews mother Can she do this while not telling Hayden everything?45 stars You will not be able to put this book down Make time to read because everything else will fall to the wayside I was given an ARC for an honest review This plays no part in how I felt about this book

Unloved by KD Wood is the second part of Unwilling I highly suggest that you read Unwilling before this one as this one starts where Unwilling left off This book is the continuation of Neely McIntire's story Her story is about love and how many people you can love at one time and the struggles that come with it This author continues to impress me with her writing style and her creation of characters You will enjoy her true to life characters that are connectable They will pull you into their world of crazy love This story has a few twists and turns that will surprise you in parts Find out what happens to Neely a year later after her traumatic eventsThis story picks up a year later after Neely returns home She is trying to convince herself that the awful memories she has are just really a bad dream When a picture shows up in her mailbox of a child that could be her everything she has regained starts to tumble down She has been finding extra support in Hayden's brother but even at that she is starting break from the pressure coming from all sides Hayden wants to take things to the next level The Tribal Guard is stalking her But the worst is Andrew's mother who is giving her an ultimatum give her the monster as promised or Neely's loved ones will be put at risk She is drowning in secrets but will she convince Andrew to help save her loved ones? What will happen when she is introduced to the child? Will she be able to sacrifice a child that looks like her? Or will she make the choice to save someone she never expected to love? The three of these characters all have their parts in this story Andrew is the one who is in love with Neely but yet the only one who can help her Hayden just wants to be with Neely He really wants to take their relationship to the next level But uestions remain What will happen to Andrew and his feelings for Neely? What will happen to Hayden and their relationship? Will Neely ever decide which one is the best for her? She is my favorite character in this book and the previously one She just has had to endure so much and I give her so much credit for being strong When the ones she loves are put in danger she never second guess about what she should do just save them What will she do when she is face to face with this child that looks like her? She doesn't want to ask Andrew for help but she has no other choice but to go to him He keeps hoping that she will be at least part of his life but is that possible? What will fate have in store for these three characters you will have to read this book to find out what happensI am not sure how many of KD Wood books I have read but this is a great continuation of Unwilling I never know what I might find when I open one of her books just that I can expect an adventure KD lives with her family and spoiled White Wang in northern Mississippi When she is not writing you can find her under a snugly blanket with a cup of donut shop planting her nose in a book This is a story that will keep you engaged until the end You will need to find out what happens with these characters They will keep you turning pages until the very last page They will pull you into their world and make you feel like they are right there with them I highly recommend this book as I know you will want to see the continuation of Neely and the others like I did

Unloved is the second book in KD Wood’s Unwilling trilogy and there is no way on Earth that anyone would ever dream of reading it as a standaloneUnloved is the continuation of Neely and Andrew and Hayden’s story I have been haunted by their story since I finished reading the first book couple of months ago – every time I go for my daily walk in the nearby National Wildlife Refuge and see the beautiful water lilies blossoming I remember what Neely told Hayden at the beginning of the first book when he gives her lotus blossom necklace water lilies for me are our version of lotus blossoms “This beautiful flower lives in the most vile muddy water of swamps and bogs”“This flower stays in the mud and muck all night long “Then at sunrise it climbs toward the light and opens into a pristine bloom After the sun goes down the bloom sinks into the mire Even though it spends the whole night underwater the flower emerges every morning as beautiful as the day before” I hated Andrew at the end of the first book I raged at him I felt for Neely and I felt for Hayden and I cursed KD Wood for creating this amazing world where the legends and reality seemed to mash and she continues to amaze me and I have to confess I loved Andrew by the time I finished the second book I felt for him and I was really angry with Hayden KD Wood you broke me I cried so much while holding on for the ride you took us on My heart is still aching and I know that in order to move on I need to get the last book and read it I already downloaded it and I can see a sleepless night ahead of me Thank you for this beautiful and unusual love story and I cannot wait to see where you take Neely and co and us in the third book Do yourself a favour and get the WHOLE trilogy and hide away for a weekend and once you emerge from the shadows take a walk in the nature and think about the lessons you learnt when reading Unwilling

I went into Unloved by KD Wood without realizing that this was the second book to a series So needless to say that I was slightly lost at first It actually took me a couple of chapters to figure out what was happening and why The book starts off with Andrew Huckley sending off a package to someone and needing to do it for his son Then it jumps to Neely McIntire – receiving a package from Andrew with a HUGE bombshell So needless to say I was a little confused How could she not know that she’d had a kid But the I read the I realized and pieced together what had happened in the previous book I do have to say that I did enjoy this book I liked it enough to continue reading I had a desire to figure out what had happened and what was going to happen I was very impressed with the authors writing style There was a touch of Paranormal – and dare I say mythical aspect to it I enjoyed and appreciated what we were offered as readers I like that I was able to loose myself within the storyline and world And even though Andrew had literally wronged Neely in the first book I felt like he had made up for his mistakes and heavily paid for them I feel like Neely literally went through hell and it’s not something that she had asked for But the fact that she was able to forgive someone that had hurt her so badly gave me a sense of peace I hate everything that she had to endure but understand that it was needed in order to grow as a person and mother Now to see what the future holds for her and Lucas her unexpected son As well as Hayden and what schemes he is up to with the Guard I’ll be very interested to read the next book in this series and find out what happens Overall I would consider this a 4 Star Read as it kept my interest

4 starsUnloved is the second book in the Unwilling series by KD Wood and was another great instalment to a series that is still taking me by surprise When I read the first book it took me a while to get into it as it was a new genre to me but I ended up loving it and so I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next As the book is a continuation of Neely’s story book 1 should be read first This is one of those reviews that is hard to write without spoiling the story Unloved was definitely a book where I went into it loving certain characters and finished it wondering why I ever did It was full of great twists and turns and not necessarily within the storyline but with the characters It was really great to read It was also an ending that I was not expecting at all Talk about a cliff hanger I loved that Neely was still the same The things that poor girl goes through Just when she thinks everything is settled and her past is behind her something or should I say someone pops back up to take Neely on another dramatic turn in her life One of the things that is really keeping my interest in this series is the uniueness of the storyline I have read a few paranormalfantasy genre books now but this series is sticking with me as something completely different I think the author has a fantastic writing style that has kept my attention throughout I definitely can’t wait to read the final book in the series I really cannot guess what is going to happen next but I’m sure there are going to be some great twists and turns along the way If you are a paranormalfantasy romance fan then I definitely recommend this series

Unloved by K D Wood is a continuation from Unwilling I suggest you read Unwilling first if you haven't already so that you are familiar with the story and what has transpired so far with all the characters I loved this book just as much as the first one Neely McIntire has been through so much and she's still trying to put all the prices of her life back together convincing herself that everything she went through was just a really bad dream Hayden just wants their relationship to go to the next level and to have the old Neely back he loves her so much he wants to spend the rest of his life with her Things start to change when one day Neely gets a letter and a picture in the mailbox and the picture is a child that looks just like her Now she has to face the reality that what she experienced might be true and on top of that she's going to need Andrew's help Andrew’s mother has made a threat to Neely that she will hurt the ones she loves most starting with Hayden if she doesn't do what she wants her to Neely has to stay strong in order to help the people she loves What will happen to her relationship with Hayden? What about Andrew he still loves Neely? Can Neely make a choice between the two? What will she do about the child? How much chaos and sacrifice can she take? You must read this awesome story to find out what happens in this love triangle I couldn't put this book down once I started reading This story took me through so many emotions and some surprises along the way I recommend reading this amazing story

K D Wood has done it again with Unloved the second book and follow up to Unwilling If you haven’t read unwilling you will need to as this is not a stand alone book This is the second part of a psychological sci fi thriller with a dash of romance added in The storyline drags you right into the book and doesn’t let you go until the very last page The characters are still very well written and the emotions tear at your heartstrings This is a must readJust when Neely thought things were returning to somewhat normal well whatever her new normal is the package shows up in the mail The kid in the picture could be her clone but theres no way what Andrew writes is real That was just an hallucination there is no kid or creature she was so sure of it she left that part out when she told Hayden and her family what happened to her When she is kidnapped again and brought before Margarette and she has a proposition for Neely and her only choice to save her family and Hayden is to accept This proposal will force her even farther down memory lane when she has to find Andrew and the child or face the conseuences Will this deepen the divide that Hayden already feels with Neely or will it drive them closer together?
