3 PADS stars from me PassionAttitudeDeterminationSacrificeI like the way Rey was thinking His PADS approach was really interestingBut it's better to start talking and i have to start with KateKate was a journalist and she was sneaking as a waitress to Rey Doyle's casino because she wanted dirt for him You see Kate was seeking revenge from the notorious cazino king because except this work he was the owner of an illegal secret fight club in which her baby brother get hurt very badly Now she is pretending someone else and she wants to find everything she can to destroy him But everything were changing when Rey ask her to pretend his girlfriend for a night and that deal with this devil sealed her fate foreverThe pretending of Rey's girlfriend forced Kate to be closer to him and to learn things for him that nobody else knew and that things made her change the bad opinion that she was having for him And not only that but she found herself attacted to this mysterious man and she couldn't resist him And how could she??? Rey was handsome successfull and he knew what he wanted from life Also he used to be a fighter and deep down inside of him he was having a golden heartBut what will happen when Rey finds out the truth???Will he manage to forgive her or each one of them will take a different path???Will Kate find the strength to proceed with her previous plan??? Well this novel was a very uick and interesting readingThe story was very good and i found myself to enjoy itThe only thing that it didn't thrilled me so much was the tiny space of time that everything happened between them It was too much insta love for reality but i really had a good timeARC kindly provided for the exchange for an honest review

I was provided a free copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for honest feedbackThis was a nice sweet and uick read The plot line was predictable but still entertaining The characters were likable enough and it delivers a HEA ending All in all not a bad choice to pass some time between emotional reads It was entertaining and touching but didn't leave me feeling emotionally drained I've never read anything by this author before but would definitely do so again Overall I liked it

This was a uick little read Nothing earth shattering overly angsty or disgustingly fluffy Rey Doyle is a fighter who has transitioned into owning casinos He still occasionally fights and even runs an underground fight club Kate's under age brother got hurt at the fight club and she's decided he needs to pay for it since he is the source behind it so she goes undercover at the casino to get the info she needs to write a scathing expose Here's Kate's problem she uickly learns things are not as they seem Life is not black and white and while yes he runs an underground fight club he also helps street kids who have no where to go and he has a tortured past that still haunts him Kate learns all this while pretending to be his girlfriend cause Rey is trying to close a deal for another casino There's a bunch of lies being told here and a lot of insta love flowing But honestly it was just what I needed today ARC provided by the publisher via Netgalley

This copy kindly provided by NetGalley on behalf of the publisher This is the kind of short story that a lot of authors like to split into a mini series leaving the reader at a crucial point making them wait for the next instalment So straight up it was a positive for me that I actually had the entire story right here now Added to that it was dual POV something I love it was fun uick easy to read nothing too heavy which is great after a long tiring day had enough drama to keep you interested without over doing it For me this was a very enjoyable read

35 starsI did enjoy this one I really liked Rey's character Kate's character was kind of just meh to me The reason why this didn't receive a higher rating was I felt like nothing really happened Kate tells Rey the truth about who she really is and why she's there and it was just a flat reaction

I found this book an enjoyable easy read it was the book euivalent to easy listening on a sunny Sunder afternoon It was smoothly written with likable characters and had plenty to keep you interested without being too taxing It was refreshing to finally read a romance that wasn't laden with smut just for the sake of it but appropriately placed in line with the story This book would be the perfect travel companion

I enjoyed my escape into Kate and Rey's world Although the situation might not be realistic for most of us it was fun to read about and the feelings and emotions were very realKate's protectiveness towards her brother is believable and how she reacts to his situation is believable She loses a bit of perspective because she is so determined to seek revengebut she ends up finding so much than she anticipatedI really liked Rey His hot exterior hides a depth that few know He works hard I liked his story and what he was trying to do I felt like Louisa let me get to know him very well Kate and Rey are both attracted to each other but reluctantly so for very different reasons How they were together was both entertaining hopeful hot and heart warming But could it last? Kate's hiding something big from Rey and will she use what she finds out against him despite how she feels emotionally towards him? Both of them show a lot of character growth in this short novella I just liked how they were and what they discovered meant to each otherKate's brother is a secondary character we see just enough of he is the whole reason for A Deal With The DevilI'd recommend A Deal With The Devil to any romance reader looking for a well paced easy to read romance

A Deal with the Devil is my first Louisa George book I was hooked right away with the burn between Rey and Kate Kate thinks Rey is a bully a Neanderthal a man who solves issues with his fists She soon finds out her assumptions are wrong Rey is suspicious of Kate as she asks a lot of uestions and is caught in an off limits area of his casino Even tho neither really wants to be they are very attracted to each other and it's not long before they become involved I enjoyed the 2 POVs and seeing the growth in both characters Rey discovers he can love someone and doesn't have to be alone and Kate discovers what is most important when it comes to protecting those you love I generally prefer a longer book however this is a really good short read I hope to read of Louisa's books in future “I received a copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review”

Copy provided by Netgalley This was a uick read The were a lot of lies and pretense in the beginning Kate was pretending to be a waitress to get dirt on Rey Doyle He is the Casino King He also runs an underground fight club Kate's underage brother is seriously hurt during a fight Kate blames Rey and wants to bring him down When she gets close to him she realizes that he is not exactly who or what she believes Pretty predictable but entertaining Not much as far a surprises or angst uick paced due to the short length Rey's character had few layers and he had some deep secrets Kate's character was pretty routine

My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest reviewThis is a fake girlfriend story that whittles away a few hours but brings nothing new to the roleIt was only an average read but certainly would be good to read after a really emotional read where you need something to just coast along withThe plot was fairly predictable and being an Entangled romance we get a HEA but as this is a short storynovella we do not get enough story to really identify with the characters
