This book was a pleasant surprise it is well written The plot has plenty of twists in order to keep the reader involved The protagonist Tilton Tilt is a likable character as is her sister Aubrey I look forward to character development in the following titles Tilt has been invited to visit a reputed haunted house She doesn't care to go by herself so she persuades Aubrey to come along Tilt meets another ghost hunter when she arrives but there seem to be to Chuck than meets the eye A supernatural voice immediately beckons Tilt with don't let them forget and she sees several apparitions Chuck tells her to lock their bedroom door There is something hinky about the journalist and the hostess is so scared she hits the bottle whenever possible Can Tilt stay safe after a spooky voice tells her she is next? I found myself eager to read the next title

I was pleasantly surprised by this book The mystery of who or what was haunting Lake Jasper was dark enough to satisfy even my cold dead heart Frankly the mystery packed of a punch than I was expecting and I liiiiiked it A lotThat said it did take me a while to get into Tilt as a character I felt like I was dropped in the middle of her situation and had to be patient enough to wait for answers as to what she was capable up It turns out she's capable of uite a bit Her psychic abilities are strong and now that she's been outed as a medium she's not afraid to let people see what she can doBottom line I liked the book Enough to read book 2 right after Kelly Reading the Paranormal
