375 4 BEDROCK STARSNetgalley ARCThere was darkness in both of us And light I could not claim to have saved him I could only say that the moment I answered that phone we began to save each other Over and over again in big and small ways I think this is one of the rare times that I feel like this was an it's me and not you deal over a book I finished reading I saw so much love for this series and my friends were saying how much they loved this particular book but I didn't come away with that same feeling I am sad I tried Maybe it was because I started this the night before going back to work after having a two and a half week long vacation Or maybe it's because I had to put this book on hold a few days in order to read a Beta In any case I will say the writing is good and there were aspects of the story that I really did enjoyThis book picks up where the first one left off Annie's past has come back with a vengeance We get a lot of serious drama and action right from the get go She and Dylan wind up in the hospital but things seem to be looking up for the two since a threat has been dealt with Little do they know there's an even bigger problem awaiting themThere were moments I found myself bored and other times I was just seriously tired of all the push and pull going on between Dylan and Annie Both would on separate occasions feel this need to push the other away and in the next breath they were clinging on to each other for dear life The sex was incredibly steamy but at times I wondered was this all they had going for them? They even uestioned that themselvesWhat I really enjoyed were the moments Dylan shared with his father There was so much pain between them but with help from Annie Dylan was able to open up little by little to Ben I was happy that he got his closure there because he was holding on to so much hurt from the past feeling like his brother and father abandoned him when he needed them the most I even enjoyed the bits between Dylan and his brother MaxOverall it's not a bad story I think if I had chosen to read this at another time I may have loved it I would say to give this a go and not to let my review affect your decision to read this

45 Stunning StarsChange is a choice It's long and it's slow The Truth About Him is a stunning follow up to Everything I Left Unsaid This read is raw and grips your heart in a vice as the truth is unveiled layer by layer I was truly taken in by this fantastic read and I cannot wait to read from this authorAt the conclusion of Everything I Left Unsaid everything is left wide open Annie and Dylan are in danger both physically and emotionally As the physical danger subsides the emotional trauma intensifies as both characters must find their way The uestion remains will they find their way together or apart? Annie is working hard to heal the brokenness she is harboring inside Dylan wants to keep Annie beside him and yet he feels like he will only bring her pain and heartbreak But Annie deserved someone good And I used to think I could be the guy to give it to her But it looked like that was only a dreamThe mystery surrounding the supporting characters begins to surface to the forefront of the story The plot is riddled with conflicts and the transformation each character takes along the journey is pivotal to the story Every moment holds meaning and is emotionally exposed so that the reader experiences every heartbeat right along with the charactersI thought It was a leap of faith Scary as shitThe physical connection between Dylan and Annie is uite uniue Annie is growing sexually and wants to explore every inch of Dylan Although he is hesitant due to his own insecurities he submits to her and the combination is sexy raw and smoking hot I simply couldn't get enough of these two togetherBaby I'm going to want to have sex with you until the day I dieI'm not letting you goTold in dual POV The Truth About Him has a uniue plot line and real characters with all of the beautiful flaws and imperfections to explore The action is set at a moderate pace and coupled with the sexy steam factor I simply didn't want this one to end Because I am his And only hisOverall The Truth About Him is a fantastic read I thoroughly enjoyed Annie's transformation from Everything I Left Unsaid and was uite humbled by the love she found with Dylan If you are a fan of flawed characters and second chance romance stories than this is the read for you I only hope Ms O'Keefe will continue this journey and expose from the secondary characters Because I for one simply cannot get enoughEverything I Left Unsaid SeriesARC graciously provided via NETGALLEY in exchange for an honest reviewFor reviewsrevealsgiveaways visit

4 Stars The truth our truth was complicated But it was beautiful And it was real What started in the erotically charged Everything I Left Unsaid now comes to a gripping conclusion with The Truth About Him What a ride this book was and so different from the first one too in the best of waysI was completely captivated with Dylan and Annie's story from the very beginning and that only became even so with this one It's like Everything I Left Unsaid was the set up for this book It reels you in with a slower paced story just to leave your head reeling with the events in Truth About Him It's one of those books that you'll want to read cover to cover without putting it down and that's exactly what I did She owned me Despondent and wrecked smiling and bright it didn't matter I was hers If you haven't yet read EILU my review will be absolutely spoiler free for both booksMolly O'Keefe left readers with a hell of a cliffhanger at the end of the first book TTAH picks up exactly where it left off with Annie's past that she's running from coming back for her But this book isn't about Annie We got to know her in the first one No This one has everything to do with the enigma that is Dylan Daniels and the past that he's desperately trying to keep in the shadows His estranged father his dangerous MC member brother his accident and everything after it; all of it comes to a head in this story I was used to being one thing And one thing at a time That's all I could hold And what she wanted from me what she was asking was messy It was human and fraught with disaster And I had no idea if I could do it He knows that after everything that Annie has been through the last thing she needs is the likes of a man like him He needs to drive her away with everything that he's got but he's completely incapable of it Especially since Annie is determined to bring him even closer and unearth all the secrets that he's buried I was a fucking Daniels We didn't love we crashed We destroyed We burned everything in fire This book will answer any and all uestions you may have had and then some It's much uicker paced filled with uite a bit of suspense on top of everything else It's also just as sexy if not so than it's predecessor I was incapable of setting this down for even a second and read it in one sitting While the author gives an incredibly satisfying conclusion for the romance there are uite a bit loose ends that we're left with in the form of secondary characters Mainly Max and Blake who I'm basically salivating to get a story for I managed to stalk down Molly to inuire about their books and was beyond thrilled when she confirmed that Max will be getting his story nextA suspenseful and erotically charged conclusion to a fantastic duet that will only leave you begging for Definitely a big rec from this girl But I recommend setting aside a few days because you will not want to put it down and if you haven't read the first book yet you'll want to read them back to back I can't wait for from this author She's definitely one to watch out for ARC received in exchange for an honest reviewFind me on

45 bedrock STARS “There were no bridges that she could build to get them back to where they’d been yesterdayShe’s burned everything to the ground” The Truth About Him is the seuel to Everything I Left Unsaid and also the last part in a the two part series edit apparently there is going to be to this series in the future I said this before but M O’Keefe was a completely new author to me until I picked up these books and I can only recommend giving her a try Now that all parts are available for purchase the reward will be a lot higher without having to suffer the cliffhanger trap And just to be perfectly clear the second book was even better than the first oneThe Truth About Him picks up right where the last book left us Annie’s past has caught up to her and it isn’t pretty All the struggle and pain comes to a very dramatic closure Ater that Annie and Dylan are left with the fallout and finding a way to cope and move on Everything I Left Unsaid mostly dealt with Annie’s story getting free from her husband and finding herself This second instalment still revolves around the love story that started with some rather epic phone calls but it focuses on Dylan his past and his familyReally discovering Dylan is the fun part For the last few years he has lead a reclusive life on top of his mountain building engines and not getting involved with things The moment he steps down from his hideaway place and he starts paying attention to Annie and less so to his surroundings things start to go haywire and his own past rears its ugly head And it all is very well worth your time “Love is a knife that really only cuts one way and that’s deep” How can I describe this beautiful writing Maybe effortless is the word It’s not incredibly detailed or flowery but very precise and easily flowing There is a nice rhythm to her story telling that sucks you in and won’t let you stop until the story is toldI loved the care with which she moved the relationships in this book There is no jumping from point a to z Ms O’Keefe takes the time to make the characters feel the pain and really consider their actions It was an emotional read and a nice way to meet some rather uniue characters Some of which I’m sure will get their say in future instalments or maybe spin offs I for one would like to read ;D ARC very kindly provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

35 Stars The Truth About Him picks up where the previous book left us hanging With Annie in an precarious situation coming face to face with the past she was desperately trying to escape It seems danger is lurking around every corner for Dylan Annie and their loved ones Sacrifices are made and secrets are revealed In this installment the reader is given insight into the lives of those around Annie and Dylan and I loved this honestly it was the side stories that kept me turning the page The romance between Annie and Dylan was still a bit underwhelming for me unfortunately That said I loved the interactions with Ben Joan and Max Overall this was a satisfying read for me ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

4 Pursuit and Retreat Stars ⭐But love is a knife that really only cuts one way and that’s deepSometimes you can run but eventually you get found Annie tried and succeeded for a little while until the past caught up with her Hiding from an abusive husband and finally having moved on with Dylan; this time around she didn’t have to deal with it aloneShe owned me Despondent and wrecked smiling and bright—it didn’t matter I was hersThe tentative relationship formed in the first book Everything I Left Unsaid was based on half truths Because spending most of their dalliances via phone calls; the shit hitting the fan now makes them realise that they barely know each other So before they have even begun they are pushing each other away But at some point one needs to be brave to grab what they wantI don’t care what you think she said all upthrust chin and attitude Oh God I tried not to smile But I loved her like this Unchained and furious It was pure A mess but it was a pure messWhile Annie’s past was put to rest at the beginning of this book this time around Dylan’s secrets get ripped open and it isn’t pretty Whilst living like a scarred recluse the truths of his former life have a way of rearing their ugly head A past that involves an estranged father and brother as well as a biker war that will no longer let him hideTired of being meek Annie is not prepared to let Dylan retreat With her newfound confidence she will poke the beast to get the reactions she craves no matter the fallout Yeah she thought show me Show me everything His hands were rough against her skin her breasts tiny in the palms of those hands She reached between their legs to cup him in her own He got hard at her touch and then harder stillIn the Truth About Him was a dramatic conclusion to this duet What started as a journey of self discovery and recovery for Annie evolved to new beginnings Where we got to see Annie bloom under kindness and her newfound sexuality we finally saw the resolution Dylan deserved Set in the derelict Flowered Manor Trailer Park it becomes the place for redemption forgiveness and prosperity This was erotic romance at its finest

45 Bedrock stars This book was even better than the first The Truth About Him picks up exactly where the first book left off Annie and Dylan continue their relationship and while Annie has opened herself up to Dylan Dylan begins to build walls to keep Annie out Dylan's past has become his present and all of the issues he has with his dad and his brother become reasons for him to leave Annie alone What I hoped would happen in this book did we got character development for both of the main characters I loved learning about Dylan and Annie's pasts because it led them to where they were in the present The two also fought both of their survival and fleeing instincts and stuck together when everything in them was saying run I like how this book and these characters weren't about over the top drama Yes they were in dramatic situations but I don't feel like anyone exacerbated them With the exception of the beginning with a bang the circumstances surrounded the characters and affected them but didn't completely slam them That make sense?Anyways I read both of these books in one day and really enjoyed both of them So get your one click ready to buy these two books ARC provided via Netgalley in exchange for review

At the end of Everything I Left Unsaid things were pretty dramatic and this book starts off the same way Things are not going good for Annie Luckily she has Ben in her corner That scene was pretty intense but it only brought forth the truth of the situation and that is Dylan and Anniethey just work Unfortunately it takes some time for Dylan to make peace with his darkness Dylan and Annie also have to make peace with what happened and what's going on with their relationship Dylan's always worried that Annie won't accept what he did but it's never really fully explained Then there's Maxand all his baggage It definitely adds a lot of drama to the story but my favorite thing was his relationship with Dylan The author does a good job of portraying their feelingsnot only does the little brother miss his big brother but the big brother misses his little brother just as much And don't even get me started on the Dad Then there's Joanwhat a twist that was I think the only reason I was okay with how things were left is knowing the author is writing their books? I cannot wait to find out What I wasn't okay with how it was left was the story of Tiffany Thankfully I've heard there's going to be a book for her too and OMGyou know who with?? That has angst all over it ; While I did enjoy this book it didn't feel uite as in depth and angsty as the first one I guess because it was pretty obvious to the reader that they would be together The epilogue was wonderful and sad You knew some things were coming but still hard to hear Favorite uote ♥ You and Me Bedrock
