Wow that was incredibly intense It might have been my least favorite in the series just because of some topics Kendig tackles as well as the romance but overall it was a very gripping and intense read Make sure you block off enough time to finish this before you start

FALCON could very well be a story ripped from today’s headlines Set in modern day Afghanistan the story details one elite military units fight to maintain cyber security as well as the safety and anonymity of valuable military assets The identity of the person or group perpetrating the attacks is unknown but the team in honing in on them As they do the threat increases the plot thickens and lives hang in the balance Ronie Kendig’s explosive ending to The uiet Professionals Series will keep you reading with rapt attentionOver the course of the series Kendig has singled out individual team members and focused on how their uniue personal struggles have impacted the overall mission Her characters break the mold of popular Christian fiction because they are always a little edgy In this book Salvatore “Falcon” Russo is loyal to his brothers in arms dedicated to the mission protective and occasionally hot tempered Falcon’s personal struggles with the guilt over his past choices carries a universal message to all Christians — see 2 Corinthians 710 The history he shares with Lt Walker is complicated which makes for an interesting romantic tension between the twoThere is no room for weak leading ladies in Rapid Fire Fiction We saw it with Zahrah Zarrick in RAPTOR 6 as well as Fekiria from HAWK both ladies make cameo appearances in FALCON Now we see that the same is true of Lt Cassandra Walker While each woman possesses a physical beauty that makes them attractive to the men of Raptor their bravery intelligence and fortitude place them in a class of their own The women of Raptor are inspiringIf you have a passion for suspense fiction FALCON is a must read Get your copy when the book releases from Shiloh Run Press on May 4th

Falcon is the third book in the uiet Professionals series and definitely my favorite It was action packed and really emotional at times I did not know what was going to happen one chapter to the next and I was just hoping everything would work out alright All in all a fantastic read Highly recommend it and I am eager to read the novella for this series which is about Titanis I received a complimentary eBook copy of this book for my honest review As always all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own

Once again Ronie Kendig delivers an action packed edge of your seat ride in the final installment of her uiet Professionals series Book three Falcon includes the Raptor team members from the previous books as well as Timbrel and Candyman from the earlier story Beowulf Explosives Detection Dog But the bulk of the story is focused on finding the mole who has been sabotaging the team We also get the chance to discover why Warrant Officer Salvatore “Falcon” Russo harbors so much animosity toward Cassandra WalkerOne of the things I really enjoyed about this book was the complexity of the relationship between Sal and Cassie There is a lot to learn about their past and it is not pretty The author adeptly delves into the gritty realities of life and does not sugar coat the fact that our actions have conseuences She tackles topics like guilt and PTSD in a straightforward manner recognizing that the atrocities faced by these warriors are realI really loved this story and loved the twists turns and shockers that completely surprised me I also wish that there were books coming in the future that would follow some of the other team membersMy thanks to the author for the complimentary copy of Falcon that I received in exchange for my honest reviewYou can read this review on my blog and through May 16th enter to win a copy of Falcon

I didn’t read this book in the way I typically would I wanted it to last so I languished over the story for two weeks I knew it was the end and who knows how long I will have to wait before the next Kendig series comes outTrust me it was really hard not to push everything aside and finish it in two days because Falcon is full of twists and turns and shocking discoveries –jaw dropping ones The last of The uiet Professionals Falcon Russo is part of an elite brotherhood of soldiers who risk their lives in some of the most extreme conditions imaginable and come through them wounded scarred stronger But some don’t survive and that’s what ultimately makes this an outstanding and realistic book series In real life soldiers die In real life traitors are within In real life the cover models are soldiers Falcon is an emotionally captivating story with diverse personalities that work together for a common goal Tensions are high not only because of the military situations but because of personal conflicts that drive the story forward Man are there conflictsCrafted with an expert pen Kendig once again creates people and places that come alive on the page By the time you get finished with this book you’ll feel the betrayal deep in your bones But you’ll also feel the faith that runs through the souls of these heroes You’ll come to know the One who gives them hope and a future I was given a complimentary copy of this book from the author and publisher This is my honest opinion no strings attached

This military series set in Afghanistan just keeps getting better Salvatore Falcon Russo is an intense moody team member of Raptor Special Forces team of the Army Green Berets He is an expert in ops and intel and is the team daddy Something is bothering Falcon and it seems to have begun when Lt Cassandra Walker is assigned to the base She works for the Defense Intelligence Agency's National Military Joint Intelligence Center and does undercover work The two have a past history that didn't end well Falcon blames her for the death of his girlfriend Relational friction is especially bad in a dangerous situation like war where minds need to be clear The Raptor team and SEAL team continue to work together as the danger ramps up to get to the Raptor team and those in command by terrorists There were two tragedies that I just about could not take in this story Oh my That is all I will say about thatFalcon is another intense emotional and danger filled addition to the series The events in this book just get nail biting and stressful as it becomes apparent that someone very close to the team in causing the problems We do get answers in this book but you HAVE to read this series in order I know that I will have withdrawal when it ends Ronie Kendig writes a story with some realistic characters that you grow to love or hate depending on whether they are the good or bad guys and a storyline that stays with you long after you finish the book

Another riveting and captivating read from Kendig As always I enjoy her tactical approach to books and the edgy military style Great characters high energy action excellent plot twists and a great theme of brotherhood and patriotism My only wish for this book was that Sal had overcome his cutting with faith As a Christian I know that God offers the relief and peace our souls need when we struggle internally and I would have loved to have seen Sal find that so readers who also struggle might be led towards Christ too All in all though still a great book by one of my favorite authors
