4sReview posted herehttpbookpassionforlifeblogspotcoUnder the Satyr Moon is the second book in ‘The Cursed Satyroi’ series and this time around it’s Ariston that gets his chance at redemptionWe meet Lily Anders when she is at her lowest on a freelance photography job that has took her out into the Blue Ridge Mountains with her boyfriend Donovan – little does she know but Donovan is about to dump her not only from his life but leaving her alone in the wilderness too Needing to find civilisation and a chance to get home Lily starts her trek through the forest Until she hears a tune a strange melody that calls to her so she follows and comes upon a man a goat man?? indulging in an encounter with a woman Feeling embarrassed and voyeuristic she goes to leave makes a noise and he sees her is fascinated by her and follows her which then becomes a kidnap situationAriston is cursed as a Satyr cursed to live the life of a half man half goat complete with horns and an insatiable sexual appetite He has lived this way for centuries hiding up on the mountain tempting campers to sate his needs and making them forget afterwards The only thing that could save his sorry ass is to find a Nymph and make love to her ‘under the Satyr moon’ and he has long given up hope of finding one especially when they are invisible to his kind but the woman who had been spying on him in the woods she was the first Nymph he’d seen since Daphne – a nymph who had shared her glimpse of his fate with him – and he wondered if he was finally getting his shot Lily of course was not happy with this situation and in trying to escape makes a few friends along the way but as always with friends always comes enemies and whilst some would be overjoyed to see Ariston’s curse lifted some would us the chance as an opportunity to break him Will Lily get to know Ariston and help him regain his humanity? Can Ariston keep his hands to himself and wait for the Satyr Moon? Will it really lift the curse? This was another enjoyable read in this series and I really enjoy the world the author has created I loved both our main characters; Lily was awesome and had a great personality paired with a great sense of humour and I liked seeing her blossom from the broken hearted girl in the beginning into a stubborn woman willing to take on a Satyr Ariston too was a great character and like Lily had the good personalitygood humour going on plus there is the innuendos that would come with having an insatiable sexual appetite which are always fun He too blossomed from a forlorn Satyr who had lost hope of ever having any love or happiness in his life resigned to his fate but that all changed with the arrival of Lily and the renewal of his hope Both together made a really good couple who gelled well and had lots of sexual chemistry that created some very hot moments filled with tension as they try to keep their hands off each other until the time was rightThe storyline was a good progression from book one and even though it has moved on to another couple we still get a cameo from Pan and Kat which keeps us informed what has happened to them since they got together Whilst most of the story is devoted to Ariston Lily’s relationship and will theywon’t they break the curse Dionysus is still meddling and is still trying to get his hands the ‘sryinx’ and is again using his Boeotian satyrs to do his bidding in the worst way especially as he pits Ariston against his twin brother Adonis in this using their hatred of each other to his advantage but as I said – Lily Ariston have made friends along the way and just as Dionysus is meddling so are the friends because they really want this for them and they all brought about some comedic moments that include a cck blocking horse lightning bolts The secondary characters are just as important in this story and from both sides Hermes is back and hilarious this time bringing Pegasus who is just as much fun even if he can’t speak plus we see a different side to a couple of Boeotian satyrs and see that being at Dionysus’s beck and call is not helping these men We get a glimpse into Adonis’s life and also Melancton’s which actually leaves me really wanting his story it will be good to see things from the other sides POV and seeing how they can get their own redemption – will it mean turning from Dionysus’s path and turning to Pan’s? who knows but I’m very curious So if you’re looking for a nice romantic tale of mythology hot Satyr men naughty nymphs in the making danger misdirection jealousy filled with humour and sexual tension that can smoulder from the pages all leading up to one make or break moment giving our H h a possible happy ever after look no further

Building a mythology all its own Under the Satyr Moon expands on the story of men and Gods of ancient Greece fighting against a curse that transformed them into immortal satyrs I really liked how this book built upon all of the ideas introduced in the first story It gives us a hero who has had the pain of forced isolation but also an estrangement from the only family he has left after centuries alone Ariston makes mistakes and has his Alpha moments but I loved how he gains back his humanity well before he can think about doing it the magical way Another thing I liked about the story was how Lily’s eyes are opened to so much than just the existence of satyrs and how she comes to accept just how important one woman can become Revisits from Pan Kat Hermes and the big baddie Dionysus create a great sense of world building and I appreciated the open ending for two other satyrs with the hope they both get their stories told

Satyrs men with hooves and horns and a craving for sex that never easesAriston has lived a long time in his cursed body in daytime he can use glamour to appear human but at sundown it does not work so Ariston chooses to live in a forest it works well for him as he can use his magic to woo women campers which eases his lust Lily was camping with her boyfriend when he suddenly broke up with her and left her in the forest hurt and a little scared she fights on When Ariston uses his magic to lure a women to him she's intrigued and follows the sound she's shocked by what she see'sAriston has no choice but to catch up with lily she's seen him in his true colours and that can't happen Lily isn't happy that Ariston wants to get to know her especially his way of making that happen These two literally spark off each they're both so fiery the banter is fabulous let alone the sexual tensionI really enjoyed Lily and Ariston's story it packs a punch there's mythology intrigue a real interesting mix of characters comedy sizzling sexual tension some angst and a storyline that you don't know where it will go Favourite characther Too difficult obviously loved our main couple but Hermes was great and obviously his side kick Pegasus If you like mythology I'm not sure how accurate this is There are lots of mythological side characthers you may have to stop occasionally to think how do they fit in to the euation Generally though it's an easy to follow paranormal romance read 45 stars

I received Under the Satyr Moon by Rebekah Lewis originally as an advance review copy from Novel Reviewers however I loved this novel so much I bought it anyways in the Volume One Collection Once again Rebekah has taken her readers on an adventure with gods satyrs and nymphs in the modern day world It's said that everyone longs for something they want something with every fiber of their being and ladies and gents gods are no exception Under the Satyr Moon takes place not long after the first novel so we get to see all of our favorite characters make an entrance here as well Our new female lead Lily is vibrant spunky and some could say a bit damaged We are introduced to Ariston and his beautifully blonde framed face and washboard abs as of the past is revealed from his perspective Of course we cannot forget Hermes and his God of Awesomeness point of view and this time he has backup in the form of Pegasus yes The Pegasus I just couldn't get enough of these spontaneous and hilarious situations they seem to get themselves into Readers be ready for an adventure and maybe shed a tear but do we cry in sadness or happiness? Well you'll just have to get your own copy and decide for yourself

I loved this book so much that I immediately wanted to read it again after I finished The story line evolves into something complex and sinister from the first installment in the series The characters and plot seemingly gain depth The chemistry between the primary characters is just as explosive as it is in book 1 only there is so much on the line and things could go devastatingly wrong The plot twists are a nice touch and on a side note I adore Hermes He's hilarious I have a new author to follow and I honestly cannot get enough of these books 5 stars

This story picks up not long after the first book of The Cursed Satyori series Wicked Satyr Nights The God Dionysus is still on the hunt for the magical syrinx he believes is in possession of one of the Arcadian satyrs Dionysus turns his attention to Ariston who was close to Pan after the satyr curse began and brother to the Adonis Adonis is a Boeotian satyr meaning he is loyal to Dionysus Dionysus plays upon Adonis’ misplaced anger towards his brother Ariston to put in play a plan to find the syrinx and screw with AristonThis plan involves Lily Anders She is unknowingly a nymph and is “conveniently” placed into the very forests where Ariston now lives and is left there under bad circumstances Lily happens upon Ariston after hearing his syrinx song and presents herself to him Ariston picks up on Lily’s “nymph like” ualities and immediately makes a play to keep her until the Satyr moon occurs to break his curse and become human again But first he has to convince his nymph to stay and help him in his pursuit to become a mortal man while also resisting the lust growing and each day between them And of course things don’t go as he originally planned and hilarity ensues Hilarity frustration humor romance forgiveness and understanding are what we find throughout the story And it is wonderfulAs I’ve said in my review of the first book I enjoy the twist on the Greek mythology and paranormal romance Ariston is hilarious and swoon worthy in my opinion; a very noble man with good intentions but somewhat clueless as to how to interact with modern women And Lily was just as eually a strong match for him even in the vulnerable state we find her in when the story begins It was great seeing them come together and understand what their feelings are for each other We get to see of Pan and Kat in this story yay along with Hermes are all Greek gods immature teenagers? and Melancton what is up with this mystery man? Like the end of “Wicked” we get a satisfying conclusion and a taste of what’s next to come in the series I would recommend going to the author’s website to ensure you’re reading each story in the right order Again I would recommend this book to readers who love paranormal romance but is looking for an original story and interesting twist on the genre as well as for readers of mythology Despite another kidnapping in this story although I understand why that’s the go to move and a few minor grammarpunctuation errors this book is a solid 45 stars Bumping it up to a 5 just because I love the series so far
