You Turn is told in alternating flashbacks of present and the days of the past that led Lenor and Zach to first fall for each other and then for Zach to break her heart What I loved is that the author gives you a clear division with the past being told solely in Zach s POV, and the present solely in Lenor s This allows the reader to not only understand the characters that much better, it truly allows you to feel for the characters and the why s of what happened Zach never got over Lenor nor the way that things ended with them He wants this new chance to prove to her that he s no longer the damaged and broken boy from the past that turned to booze, drugs and women for his comfort He s moved on and made something of himself being the owner of a sucessful Parisian club He has money and success but what he truly wants is her forgiveness He would love a chance for her heart, but he knows that he will never deserve that again Spare me the word sorry , will you I don t believe in sorry I believe in the truth and the truth is that you were the first friend I ever had. This is not a book that is overly steamy or even steamy at all, and even though that would usually bother me what I never hid my pervy ways This is nothing new , I found that I loved the story and the second chance romance so much that I didn t even bat an eyelash at the lack of steam.I fell for Zach hard in this book Having seen the past from his eyes and knowing what drove his actions and decisions then truly allowed me to understand him that muchSeeing the way that he tried to atone in the present and his clear love for Lenor was justgahI don t even have the words It was emotional and lovely and at times broke even my poor black little heart I Was Never Your Friend.I was the little girl who loved you from afar I was the woman who gave herself away for you and ended up losing a lot of who she was Then allow me to give you back some of what I stoleSeeing the Zach from the past, he was definitely far from perfect But it also helps you understand the Zach of the present that muchThe author did a great job with characterization and showing the true growth of both these MCs My whole life I ve looked up at him from afar or up close He has been my hero only to turn into a fallen one. The romance between Zach and Lenor is a slow burn with a strong undercurrent of their chemistry It s constantly present even through their push and pull And while this romance is what I d call steamy lite, it definitely still had it s moments I want you to fuck me Now and on that desk of yours I want you to remember how good it is to be inside me each time you enter this room to work I want you to remember me I want you to remember what you lost and I want it to hurt. It wasn t overly angsty yet it had it s share of turbulance What truly made this book were the incredibly endearing characters I loved the way the author portrayed Lenor through her struggle of losing her fiance, Josh, to another woman without having her come across as a vapid and selfish little rich girl I was already strongly invested in her character in the first two books, and that only solidified for me here. This was a beautiful and touching second chance romance that you won t be able to help but fall for.If you haven t yet discovered this author, I strongly recommend you get acquainted. On a side note, I m really hoping we get a book for Sam next I ve been wanting one for him since Fast Forward ARC courtesy of author in exchange for an honest reviewForreviews visit

2.5 StarsI thought the story was very well written Although the time lapses did make me dizzy I just could not get past the wrong doings of our dear hero, Zach You see, these kiddles, were dating when they were 18 and he fucked Lenor over You knew that right away but you didn t know how bad it was, Lenor had no idea how bad it was It was oogeyenter at your own risk view spoiler He kissed, fondled and fooled around with her mama HER MOM No sex, but come on, that s just nasty nasty ic 2.5 StarsI thought the story was very well written Although the time lapses did make me dizzy I just could not get past the wrong doings of our dear hero, Zach You see, these kiddles, were dating when they were 18 and he fucked Lenor over You knew that right away but you didn t know how bad it was, Lenor had no idea how bad it was It was oogeyenter at your own risk view spoiler He kissed, fondled and fooled around with her mama HER MOM No sex, but come on, that s just nasty nasty icky poo hide spoiler So yeah couldn t get over that They pick up 5 years later and you go back and forth between past and present but yeah couldn t get over that I had a feeling about it, but yeah couldn t get over that.Another rant view spoiler I just really can t stand this type of storyline any Hero is a dick, destroys poor heroine, becomes a manwhore, fucks anything that can move, and then heroine sees hero a few years down the road and all is forgotten pretty easily They didn t even bring up the french chick again that she saw him kissing at the club Like WTF was all that about We know he fucked her in the past, but come on that was glossed over And Clara and her weirdness, yeah he fucked her too Don t like assholes heros that can t redeem and overcome said asshole ness so this was one was doomed from the start hide spoiler Clearly can t get over it PS I normally never spoil major twists or reveals but this was one was THAT bad I felt I needed too I wished I had read some of the reviews before I proceeded here So here you, go, Golden Rule

2.5 starsI can t write an actual review about this book because it will just be me spewing horrible words over and over again.First off, the writing in this book was excellent Marion Croslydon has a special way with words I d read another book of hers if I thought it would be completely different than this.Because this book was so well written, it completely ripped my heart out I cannot believe that I actually finished this, because usually I would DNF as soon as this book when where I figure 2.5 starsI can t write an actual review about this book because it will just be me spewing horrible words over and over again.First off, the writing in this book was excellent Marion Croslydon has a special way with words I d read another book of hers if I thought it would be completely different than this.Because this book was so well written, it completely ripped my heart out I cannot believe that I actually finished this, because usually I would DNF as soon as this book when where I figured it was going But, like a total head case I had to twist the knife further by actually finishing Lenor deserved better in her life Better from her mother, her father and Zach The only person I think truly cared for her was her cousin, Charlie, and she wasn t much help either. The thing that Zach did to Lenor can never be forgiven I don t see how someone can come back from that I truly dont I sure as fuck wouldn t give Zach another chance if I was Lenor The short span of time in the present day disturbed me It seemed like everything important happened in the span of 2 weeks I don t honestly think Zach was a better man in the present than he was in the past It didn t ring true to me The last 40% or so just killed any good feelings I had. This book put me through the emotional ringer I wish I could say I d recommend this to someone But I personally cannot I know some people will actually enjoy this book, but the subject matter was not for me Like I said, the writing was flawless Its captivating and drew me in So give it a try or don tI said I wasn t going to write a review, but I guess in the end I did And I only used a few bad words Go me.

I m going to do a little summary of my thoughts of this book Here goesAfter reading No Reverse and being the greatest fan of Cassie and Josh s story I could not resist reading this I was already somewhat familiar with Eleanor as she appeared previously in the first book instalment however I didn t really like her then However this story gave me insight into Eleanor s character, her story from her view and it was a pleasure to experience. There s something about the way the second chance ser I m going to do a little summary of my thoughts of this book Here goesAfter reading No Reverse and being the greatest fan of Cassie and Josh s story I could not resist reading this I was already somewhat familiar with Eleanor as she appeared previously in the first book instalment however I didn t really like her then However this story gave me insight into Eleanor s character, her story from her view and it was a pleasure to experience. There s something about the way the second chance series is written, the whole love concept is unique and presented in a fashion that makes it seem realistic It s difficult not to become captivated by it It s all related to relationships that have gone through the worst of things but have wrestled against the hands of time Eleanor and Zach go way back, when they were mere kids but they never really saw each other back then in the light they see each other in now Eleanor may have but Zach was definitely the guy who had his own life issues to deal with Eventually, they experienced very similar things as they grew and I imagine that is eventually what made them understand each other better in the end It s always a case of will it work, will it not work with them because they ve already been there They re not really starting something new they re just continuing something that had already been started a long while ago So it s a dangerous path they decide to take because if it ends up not working then it has the capability of causing them destruction I highly recommend reading the first story of Cassie and Josh before picking this up although it can most definitely be read as a standalone I just feel the prior parts help set the scene better and also because No Reverse is one of my favourite stories This is a lovely read and I m glad to have had the chance to read this story

I first met Lenor in Marion Croslydon s novel No Reverse I wasn t sure how to feel about her, but when things didn t end well for her, I hoped she d get a chance at finding love again and with You Turn, Marion has done just that Everything I d wanted for Lenor andwas in this book.I sort of liked the Lenor I met in No Reverse There wasn t too much in there about her as an individual, so when I realized I was really going to get to know her, I was very excited Everything I thought I knew I first met Lenor in Marion Croslydon s novel No Reverse I wasn t sure how to feel about her, but when things didn t end well for her, I hoped she d get a chance at finding love again and with You Turn, Marion has done just that Everything I d wanted for Lenor andwas in this book.I sort of liked the Lenor I met in No Reverse There wasn t too much in there about her as an individual, so when I realized I was really going to get to know her, I was very excited Everything I thought I knew about Lenor was wrong I had no idea how strong she was and that she d had another huge betrayal in her past I wasn t really sure how to feel about Zach, especially since it became apparent he d broken Lenor s heart once before and done it brutally However as time went on and Zach and Lenor spenttime together, I began to see what may have happened and how they could make things work with each other this tie around I thought it was horrible they had the parents they did Those men and women were never fit to be parents and it seemed so wrong their sins messed with their children When you read the book you ll find out what a piece of work Louise, Lenor s mother is and her pompous father too, and how Zach s parents worked to mess him up too.The story was very fast paced and kept me on my toes I loved how the chapters were set up going between the past and the present, especially in the beginning, to help give us an idea of what had happened between Zach and Lenor and to give us some insight to their personalities All it took to hook me was the first chapter and I had so many questions that kept getting answered and creatingas I read I literally read this book in a matter of hours I devoured it and was left wanting to seeof Zach and Lenor There were moments when I was happy and then there were moments when I was devastated as truths came forward and realized Lenor and Zach and others were in pain There s no way I can do full justice to this novel in words It is really a story that needs to be read to be experienced Don t let the beautiful and inspired cover fool you This novel isthan about sex, it s about love, second chances, family, relationships, and finding yourself and being true to you It s a fabulous novel and Marion Croslydon has outdone herself with it I can not wait for her next novel I m hoping it ll be Sam s story, but I ll take anything she writes

You Turn is one of those books where you know the main characters are going to end up together but instead of being predictable and boring it makes it worth your while It is a light read for me at least for the most part, but the author sure knows when to throw a heartbreaking twist that leaves a reader coated in disbelief I know I was This book is a light read for me because despite the shall we say gloomy start of the book and the main characters predicament, the romantic sparks in the You Turn is one of those books where you know the main characters are going to end up together but instead of being predictable and boring it makes it worth your while It is a light read for me at least for the most part, but the author sure knows when to throw a heartbreaking twist that leaves a reader coated in disbelief I know I was This book is a light read for me because despite the shall we say gloomy start of the book and the main characters predicament, the romantic sparks in the air made it lighter. This book is told in both the main characters Zach s and Eleanor s POVs, and it shows both the past and the present Including their past in Zach s POV is a nice touch in the story because the readers get to know the other side of what happened five years ago The plot fits perfectly against each other I like the way the chapters the intervals of the past and present are arranged. The characters are easy to like The impression I got from Eleanor Carrington is she s not capable of holding onto anger for long Yes, she was still hurting from the sudden break up with her ex fianc e, but I didn t get the feeling that she s angry I don t know if that s good or bad.Zachary Murdoch the present Zach is laid back and cool I felt his devotion to Eleanor right from the start However, the man he became remains a mystery to me I get it that he was waiting for Eleanor to step back into his life, but I don t think I had enough emotions from the present him to really figure him out I just know that he loves her I am also not sure if that s a good thing or not.I want to say so much , but I do not want to spoil anything If I haven t mentioned it, I really liked this book Both sweet and heartbreaking, You Turn struck me as a story of not just first love and second chances, but also of heartaches, painful truths, dire mistakes and forgiveness Zee
