This was the story of a popular little girl gymnastic not pagent girl killed by someone most likely close to her Yes it was similar to a true crime out in Colorado I found the story dragging It was a slow boring mystery to unfold with no suspense I was too bored to finish I skipped to the last chapter to see who did it I was going to read that and the Epilogue but bother were still to boring to finish

  2. Gerry Gerry says:

Loosely based on the Jon Bonet murder mystery this novel focuses on the victim’s brother as the prime suspect and portrays the parents as hiding his guilt in an effort to save their one remaining child

  3. Christie Christie says:

We all have secrets at times the ones we least expect to be able to do horrible crimes are the ones who do it At times children like Jared are caught up in the confusion therefore seen as a suspect of someone elses' doing

  4. Lisa Greer Lisa Greer says:

I'm just 50 pages in and this one is very good If you are obsessed with the mystery of what happened to the little girl who was killed in CO all those years ago you would like this one I'm not and I like it It almost has the feel of true crime

  5. Caroline Caroline says:

Probably one of the worst books I've read in a while From the slut shaming of the 10 year old victim to the tacit ok that if a woman chooses to abort she should be slapped around for her choice and so many things made me just want to yell what to this book

  6. Marti Marti says:

The location of this book fascinated me because it mentioned Compo Beach which was a place where five granddaughters me included and our two mothers used to go in the summer for a day at the beach
