As as breast cancer survivor, this book was special to me I wish it had been available when I was diagnosed But it seems, Ms Crowne and I were dealing with the BIG C at about the same time Reading her book brought back a lot of memories It was like sharing survivor stories with an old friend I laughed I cried And I applauded Ms Crowne s courage Throughout this dark ordeal, she hung onto her faith and humor and it shines through in this honestly written, heart warming story of survival As as breast cancer survivor, this book was special to me I wish it had been available when I was diagnosed But it seems, Ms Crowne and I were dealing with the BIG C at about the same time Reading her book brought back a lot of memories It was like sharing survivor stories with an old friend I laughed I cried And I applauded Ms Crowne s courage Throughout this dark ordeal, she hung onto her faith and humor and it shines through in this honestly written, heart warming story of survival.I highly recommend it

Wow Thank you Mackenzie for writing this book It was beautiful, heart rending and strangely uplifting I wish I d had this book before my mother in law passed from breast cancer I think it would have helped me help her in small ways and take a lot of the fear I felt away Its always fear of the unknown that scares us most and this book addresses that with humour and charm as we follow one woman s journey from diagnosis, treatment and finally through to recovery.Thank you for sharing Mackenzie Wow Thank you Mackenzie for writing this book It was beautiful, heart rending and strangely uplifting I wish I d had this book before my mother in law passed from breast cancer I think it would have helped me help her in small ways and take a lot of the fear I felt away Its always fear of the unknown that scares us most and this book addresses that with humour and charm as we follow one woman s journey from diagnosis, treatment and finally through to recovery.Thank you for sharing Mackenzie

This was not quite what I was hoping it was I wanted a book that would 1 encourage my friend who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and 2 help me understand what all she is going through I m afraid it isn t going to do the first effectively because she doesn t have a good support system, which is highlighted as so important in this book It did the second thing only partially I m the sort of person who wants to become an expert in what I study, not just have a passing knowledge This was not quite what I was hoping it was I wanted a book that would 1 encourage my friend who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and 2 help me understand what all she is going through I m afraid it isn t going to do the first effectively because she doesn t have a good support system, which is highlighted as so important in this book It did the second thing only partially I m the sort of person who wants to become an expert in what I study, not just have a passing knowledge Overall, it is a good book, it s just not the book I was looking for

I enjoyed reading Mac s book about her personal struggle with breast cancer Each page described an honest, dramatic, funny sad and inspirational account of her journey from diagnosis to treatment to cure Written as a guide for women going through such a nightmare, Mac s inclusion of the universal themes of struggle for health, support of friendship, and fear of dying means that men can also relate to her manual for survival.I was often deeply moved by her inclusion of what her friends, family I enjoyed reading Mac s book about her personal struggle with breast cancer Each page described an honest, dramatic, funny sad and inspirational account of her journey from diagnosis to treatment to cure Written as a guide for women going through such a nightmare, Mac s inclusion of the universal themes of struggle for health, support of friendship, and fear of dying means that men can also relate to her manual for survival.I was often deeply moved by her inclusion of what her friends, family and husband were going through as she underwent her treatments For that insight, I thank her.And I praise the grace of Mac s evident faith for showing us that God was a constant and necessary member of her support team.Well, done, Mac
