First, I ll say I wish I had read it sooner And the title TOTALLY appropriate, I thought, according to the story taking place here This one has been a bit difficult to get thru at the beginning I had the book for over a week, almost 2 before I built up enough courage to start reading it after how the last one ended I definitely hesitated but not in the bad way So, Cheyenne s definitely had a tough time dealing with the loss of a loved one a terrible darkness dwelling deep within her, First, I ll say I wish I had read it sooner And the title TOTALLY appropriate, I thought, according to the story taking place here This one has been a bit difficult to get thru at the beginning I had the book for over a week, almost 2 before I built up enough courage to start reading it after how the last one ended I definitely hesitated but not in the bad way So, Cheyenne s definitely had a tough time dealing with the loss of a loved one a terrible darkness dwelling deep within her, and she struggles HARD at the beginning, but she comes through she s a tough cookie I SO wanted to hit Brogan hard with anything I could grab my hands on when he put Cheyenne thru the tacticts training with wanting everyone going against her Of course, I know it s so she learns all, but still Ugh, he irritated me throughout the book so much still not sure I like him lolIm glad Cheyenne overcomes her darkness within learns to control it Callon s always there when she needed it most for moral support love She finally reveals her true feelings for him She realizes he s been the one to pull her thru the darkness and been there trying to make her see everything that he s done, that her family has done, has been for her I could hardly believe the twists in the story with certain events that happened, but It makes it THAT much better and leaves me deeper in anticipation waiting the next one 2014 is too long to wait But I m glad there will be another because this battle that we ve been thru with Cheyenne against defeating Marcus MUST end I cannot say any, otherwise I will spill the beans on things that YOU JUST HAVE to read yourselves fellow readers and fans Til next one

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers To view it, click here First of all let me say I m very proud of Lisa for how well she writes Her ability to write conversations between characters, and thoughts they have is very imaginative and not something easy to come by In Daylight I found the conversations of the group had grown and matured because they had been thru so much and grown and matured together and Lisa kept to that I was very glad that Lisa felt Colt should live, because in all honesty there are times when you read a book that some characters dea First of all let me say I m very proud of Lisa for how well she writes Her ability to write conversations between characters, and thoughts they have is very imaginative and not something easy to come by In Daylight I found the conversations of the group had grown and matured because they had been thru so much and grown and matured together and Lisa kept to that I was very glad that Lisa felt Colt should live, because in all honesty there are times when you read a book that some characters deaths don t fit correctly and altho it may mimic life I like to have some enjoyment when I read and didn t want him to die I knew you wouldn t do that to him While I felt the information brought out in the book may have been good to explain much about the Timeless and Cheyenne s growth to acceptance in being timeless herself, I felt Daylight was a bit slow in moving forward to catching killing destroying the imbalance in the clans that Marcus had inflicted for such a looooong time While Callon and Cheyenne were supposed to be getting closer and learning about each other, she should have been hearingfrom him about Marcus Things that could help her determine his weak points as she was honing her skillsandAnd while the clans were touched on, I wish Callon had given her a biton information on leadership, for her benefit as well This would have bonded them all theTheir bond and love never seemed to be really deep love like hers and Colt s Their s you could feel on the page, as if you touched the page you could burn your finger I know there should have been a cliffhanger to keep them coming back forat some point, but I was a bit disappointed at the ending with no resolve for Callon s powers and Cheyenne not being able to talk to Dex and Lilly about what she had done and why before it ended I was kind of left a little not where s the next book , but where s the next page You know, something was forgotten Don t worry Lisa, this won t stop me from reading any of your material in the future, because I love the way you write Now, having said all of this, it is only my opinion and doesn t matter when it is the direction you were going that we were all waiting on I just wanted to vent Because in all realityyou, than likely with your wonderful imagination have all of this culminated in Awakenings And I probably just stuck my foot in my mouth

Chey is too whinny She s got the same problem with America from Elite too whinny and too confused considering the choice should be obvious making both characters appear weak and unlikable Reading their narration will want you to get into the book and slap them in the face to wake from indecision and tell them to step up I read the first 6 chapters and started to skip from chapter to chapter hoping to see some change of phase or at least strength from the main character, nothing there The Chey is too whinny She s got the same problem with America from Elite too whinny and too confused considering the choice should be obvious making both characters appear weak and unlikable Reading their narration will want you to get into the book and slap them in the face to wake from indecision and tell them to step up I read the first 6 chapters and started to skip from chapter to chapter hoping to see some change of phase or at least strength from the main character, nothing there The paCe is so dragging I decided to hop to the last chapter just to see how the story will end, still no satisfaction This book is not worth buying, too bad I really like the first book and the concept of the series but Daylight is too boring to read I think I ll borrow the next book from someone or from the libraryor better yet, read from someone else spoiler review to see the conclusion of the series

This book surprised me a bit I found myself wanting to slap several of the main characters This book seemed a lot darker than the previous books I liked how Cheyenne finally steps up to the plate toward the end of the book and stops acting like a spoiled brat I m hopeful that the 4th book will have a happy ending but right now the story doesn t look like it is headed there Loved the character of Andre
