This was a pretty good book it was written by a man who grew up in the old OklahomaIndian Territory He told of his relations with cowboys and other travelers along the Chisholm Trail the main thoroughfare to drive cattle from Texas to Kansas He also told of his friendly relations with Indians in the area Much of his book was set within 50 miles or so of my home so it was cool to read about local history
